The Joys of Listening Whilst Watching
Decode: Digital Design Sensations
V & A Museum London UK

08 Dec 2009 - 11 April 2010

To compliment the exploratory nature of the DECODE show, The Joys of Listening Whilst Watchingtook the visitor through just a portion of the magnificent riches of the collection in the Museum via a soundwalk. Combining the natural environment, recorded in 3D/Binaural sound, with new compositions that aim to resonate with each of the spaces, the work sought to engage and play with a vast terrain, unfolding a new narrative within the Museum.

Decode: Digital Design Sensations showcased the latest developments in digital and interactive design, from small, screen-based, graphics to large-scale interactive installations. The exhibition included works by established international artists and designers such as Daniel Brown, Golan Levin, Daniel Rozin, Troika and Karsten Schmidt.
