Over the past four years, T_P_S created a (flexible) blueprint for a laboratory model that seeks to develop, challenge and support hybrid performance practice by affording the participating artists a rare opportunity to explore ideas, make new connections, and negotiate unfamiliar territories in a (relatively) well-resourced, critical laboratory environment. To date, the outcomes have included a profusion of collaborations and projects among the artists involved, as well as a strong national network across which ideas, support, knowledge, resources and opportunities are shared.

This model feeds into a wider international circuit of research and development and the subsequent presentation of this work. Scanner facilitated workshops and creative discussions with 25 participating Australian artists.
